Weiss & Associates is a Los Angeles psychological practice specializing in comprehensive neuropsychological and educational evaluation and in psychotherapy for children, teens, adults, and families. We take the time to understand the whole person — learning profile, emotional life, and the environment around them — because an accurate answer is the only thing an effective plan can be built on.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Dr. Dorie Weiss
Ph.D. Clinical Psychologist
What began as Dr. Dorie Weiss's solo practice is now a team of licensed psychologists, neuropsychologists, therapists, and clinical social workers serving families across Los Angeles. Each brings a distinct specialty and training background. All share the same conviction: no two clients are alike, and no two plans should be either.
Also on staff: Charlie, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel certified in play therapy and cuddling, with a specialty in afternoon naps.
Dr. Weiss is recognized in her field and by her clients for providing empathetic, results-driven psychotherapy and careful and comprehensive psychodiagnostic evaluations that get to the correct diagnosis the first time. Dr. Weiss’s approach stems from her belief that optimal results come from working collaboratively with clients, families, teachers, and other treating professionals to generate treatment plans appropriately tailored to individual clients. No two clients are alike, and no two issues are the same.
